Step 1
1. Bring in your Syllabus for the semester - This will help us to start your webpage. Please bring in a disk with the document (any format is probably acceptable).

2. Bring in your assignments for the semester - This will help to guide your students through your course materials this semester.

3. Bring in some ideas/concepts, etc. for discussion - We will put these into threaded discussions for your class.

Step 2

1. Write your course description
2. Create your syllabus (model course syllabi)
3. Discuss your Class Policies, Instructions, and Procedures
4. Develop objectives, scans competencies for each section, or unit covered
5. Set up your  assignments and quizzes

For each Chapter or Subject covered in your class textbook

1. State Objectives: eg. what will be taught and learned
2. Introduction - motivate your students here
3. Lecture - could include
a. lecture notes
b. outline of notes
c. power point or other presentations
d. tables and charts
4. Reading assignments - informs the student
5. Assignments - complete certain tasks, or exercises, hypotheticals
6. threaded discussions - assign students hypotheticals to analyze
7. quizzes - use quizmaker to give short quizzes for understanding.8. Hypotheticals or Case Studies - review specific examples, real life cases, etc. which
apply the principles learned in class.
